THANK YOU HOMER!!!
Seconded! This is a great developpement. :)
I think it is totally cool and okay for this one to be posted on your account/channel (you deserve your part of the fame :D), but I think we should have the rest on our own channel. But before he time comes that we have all the videos done, that video is good where it rests now.

Also: We truly will need that Narrator voice in the background, to keep everyone aware of where/what's going on (Also maybe maps? Would help crazy people who are afraid of voice, but might be bad for the video(?)), and remember to keep it as simple, short and informative as possible (this video does this pretty good, but this must be remembered in the future, too).

Anyways, GOOD WORK! Now let's get the rest of them! :)

Speaking of which: are they already under construction? Should we gather more clips? What can people do to help?

I don't have any further clips currently. And we have something worked out so that we can have a video in both places. It's up to CG to make the second part happen though.

Work-In-Progress (Halo: Reach) / Re: WIP: Covenant Ranks Guide

Type: Hunter (Lekgolo)
Rank: Hunters have a rank in previous games. We'll have to use older Pictures.
Class: Heavy (?)
Weapons wielded: Flak Cannon (?)
Shield strength: Extremely tough. Bullets bounce off it.

I just noticed this. The gun on a Hunter's arm is a Fuel Rod Cannon.

Make a separate area for every game. CE, 2, 3, ODST, Reach. This way the pictures maintain the same graphic style.

Also, that template looks REALLY nice as well as Pulse's strength report. Nice and neat. Looks amazing!

Download the Bungie Mobile app on your iOS device and you can get Blue flames. You also get access to the "Bungie" nameplate as well as all star.

Also, I can give out 7 all stars to anyone wanting one.

Halo 4 General Discussion / Re: Halo 4 E3 Trailer
« on: June 12, 2011, 22:48:24 »
Money grab.

Halo was meant, by the CREATOR of the IP, to be a trilogy. Halo: CE, Halo 2, Halo 3. Halo: Reach and ODST were cutting it close, but I accepted them because they were doing different parts of the story which I had an interest in. But Halo 4? Sorry, Microsoft. I didn't want Halo to be a COD. Let it die. Let it die while still retaining a good name.

Why let it die if we can have a brand new company dedicated to everything Halo making it?
It's obvious 343 has big plans for Halo and they seem to be taking a whole new direction from what we're used to. Can't that make the subsequent Halos the best of the series?

Because Microsoft just wants money. Halo will soon just add another number as Call of Duty has done.

Lest you forget that Halo is a big deal — and that the series turns 10 this year — Microsoft is ready to remind you. A raft of Halo news hit this morning, including a promise of a Friday upgrade to the Xbox 360's Halo Waypoint and a tease of some big things in August. Plus... a cute 'lil Flood pet!

Here's the news from Microsoft today, in chronological order of Halo events...

Halo Hype Train Brings Us The Mona Lisa, A Flood Pet And Something In AugustAvatar Gear: Microsoft will start selling new Halo-themed items for Xbox 360 avatars starting on April 14. The items include new Halo helmets (see above), new Halo shirts (what's that "zombie" message mean??) and even...

Halo Hype Train Brings Us The Mona Lisa, A Flood Pet And Something In AugustThis adorable Flood pet.. coming out on Friday, too.

Halo Hype Train Brings Us The Mona Lisa, A Flood Pet And Something In AugustWaypoint Upgrades: The Xbox 360-based Halo hub called Halo Waypoint will be upgraded on Friday, adding a lot of features that bring it closer to par with Bungie.net, the premiere Halo community and stat-tracking site that, remember, is run by Bungie, a studio that invented Halo but isn't making it anymore. Official summary of upgrades: "For the first time, your "Halo: Reach" service record will be fully accessible from Waypoint, making everything from detailed game history to weapons stats and Challenges available at your fingertips, anytime you're using your Xbox 360. There's even a brand new "Compare with Friends" feature that lets you compare your stats against your friends and rivals, along with two new Waypoint career levels." (The features will also be added to the Windows Phone 7 Waypoint app).

Halo Hype Train Brings Us The Mona Lisa, A Flood Pet And Something In AugustNew Halo Motion Comic: The comic is pulled from the Halo Evolutions anthology and is set after the first Halo game. Official summary: "Sent on a highly-classified mission in the debris field of the Halo artifact, the crew of the UNSC Red Horse discovers a derelict prison ship – the Mona Lisa – adrift in space. When a contingent of marines board this vessel, they come face to face with a more terrifying threat than the Covenant and are forced to battle for their very survival." It will premiere on April 23 on Halo Waypoint, Windows Phone 7 and the Internet.

Halo Hype Train Brings Us The Mona Lisa, A Flood Pet And Something In AugustNew Halo Action Figures: Red and blue Spartan figures from Square Enix, "based on the classic Team Slayer multiplayer mode in Halo" will go on sale a the San Diego Comic-Con in July.

Halo Hype Train Brings Us The Mona Lisa, A Flood Pet And Something In AugustPAX Surprise? The Penny Arcade Expo will be held in Seattle in August, in the same town where Microsoft's chief Halo division, 343 Industries is located. Convenient, then, that a Halo 10th Anniversary celebration is happening there. Maybe they should announce a remake of the game there or something. Officially, Microsoft public relations is saying this: "We'll just say this for now: if you're a fan of Halo, the Halo community, and celebrations in general, this is the year to attend the Penny Arcade Expo Prime in Seattle on Aug. 26, 27 and 28, where you can help us celebrate 10 years of Halo in a very special way."

Man, that's a lot of Halo. They wouldn't go through this whole year, release all these things and not put out a new Halo game, would they? So far, none is announced.
