I made a new map (http://www.gruntspajamas.com/gallery/main.php?g2_itemId=948) which shows the path to bump D09. This was more of an exercise to continue building up my Photoshop map template.

so... you don't have to jump the barriers anymore?
-
LOL. Where have you been, Kenji! :P (I know... I'm just teasing you!)
No, you don't. At least not in MS. Here's our video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M4UrE8O8PMw) proving it.

sorry, since my job thing and my various random things coming up I havent been on to check all the forums. I do check the cartographers everyday though!

That's easy enough, not much is happening right now, lol.
Computer Update: Called the guys and they said taht they hadn't even shipped my computer yet...grr. Should be in Tuesday or Wednesday, after getting all document files copied over and such, new maps are set to arrive this weekend.

umm any chance you can tell me how to bump correctly as whenever i try it will say loading yet a small bump will happen as doors wont be there yet every other object will

Bumping doesn't remove every object from the map. A seemingly random selection of objects are removed. In reality, the same objects are removed each time. Tall Gray Security Doors (TGSDs) disappear often, but certainly not always. The only way to know which objects will bump out of a given district is to bump it. Of course, you also have to know which objects are normally supposed to be there! I did the whole laborious before-after catalog of each door in a district some time ago in order to produce this map (http://www.gruntspajamas.com/gallery/v/SGP/maps/secretrooms/SL-2009_10_17-ColdGlider-Map-D06-Bumpable.jpg.html) of D06. You don't see it (because I hid the layers) but I cataloged every single door in the district first. I bumped it and then revisited every door to see if it had been bumped out. Finally, I noted the ones which bumped out and made the map.
Obviously this could (and should, IMHO) be done for each district. It takes time, though. I have been trying to focus my ODST efforts with the SGP recently (*cough* Weekly Challenge *cough*) but this manner of cataloging will likely resume (on my part, anyhow) once other areas of investigation have settled down.
