You'er right Anubis, I should not give up yet. But since I don't have any idea what is the code used for or how to decode it, I think I'll just wait until some nice way pops up. (or then I'll kill some time searching it.)
And since the noises are heard in other places than near screens, like in the tower mentioned, it could be found somewhere else, correct? I think that the fact that it's not concetrated only to screens proves that it's not just some TV-screen alarm, but perhaps a message from Vergil?
Thanx guys, I'll still keep this thing in my head.

LULZ Apollo, I had no idea :D And you're right, I don't think it's relevant to the big thing. But it still could be an egg. Haven't found anything from these, so it's hard to predict it's meaning...And yeah, I don't think it's the air handling unit's manufacturing date, because that would be pretty old model, over 500 years, right?

Housing pods: nice idea.
I have never noticed the glyphs in the end (well, I've played it trough only once, so...). Since the track was hidden in the earlier games near the end of the level, I see it possible that it would be found somewhere near the glyphs/end of the level.
...No wait, I'm not sure about H2. Was teh track in it at the end as well?
I suppose that yes, you have to kill "the beetle", but we can try that too.
Saw them in some Asklon's buildings, near a door, if we're talking about the same thing.
I was going to suggest that the Siege of Madrigal would be in one of those garages... Did you check them?
And Banshee subs? I did that accidentally once, and it's wery amusing :D Too bad you can't do the same in "Longshore"...

Very good points Enigma, I think we are getting closer!

While looking at this list john posted here, I found out that they hadn't listed Asklon there. Instead they have AMG Transport Dynamics, which is considered the "real name" of Asklon and vice-versa.
No, there's nothing weird or stupid in it, we know that bungie made some changes to NM after H2. Just wanted to point out that Asklon could also be a normal technics company as many other NM companies are, and not a mystery company that has something to do with "the secret"(As I have always thought[as I still do]).

So it seems like a normal NM company along the others, expect it has a german origin. Yay.
Maybe we should get back to the upside-down Mailbox? What's the big deal? I think we can agree BUngie rarely makes something that does'nt make any sense, so what's the idea in this box? Some covenant or Citizen could no have just flipped it, because it's infact inside the wall... ???
