Theorizers / Re: SGP: QTA XII VI - "Confirmed" mysteries
« on: March 23, 2013, 22:12:16 »
While working, I noticed that QTA.V is a stock from Quaterra Resources Inc. On the Technical Report of the Nieves Project, there is a page XII in the introduction pages. On page XII, it speaks of the drilling phases. I'm not entirely sure about all this, but I believe the drill has many different bits (sizes); one of them being VI.

On page XII we see this line:
"Table 12
15: QC Results for Au and Ag in Phases IV, V and VI
................................
...............
126
"

Page 141 of the PDF is the page the 126 is referring to. I assume the introduction pages weren't counted. On page 141 we see statistics of the drill phases:

I'd say this is some pretty damn solid evidence to use as a basis.

Halo 4 General Discussion / Re: Didactula?
« on: December 06, 2012, 02:14:50 »
Yeah because of those fangs and mutilated looking head I thought he was flood... the Gravemind or something. Of course, that probably also had to do with the equalization of sound effects vs voices, so I didn't even hear what he said. Also that when he talked about a forerunner/human war I couldn't tell who were forerunners and who were humans. But yeah, Didactula really didn't fit in like our old covies do.

Sure thing. His name is Alex and he' s aDesigner as well.

I believe this designer is Alex Pfeiffer. Lukems interviewed Alex in a bungie weekly update, including this random text at the end of the post:

I have no idea what it means. Just thought I'd include it. As of now I have no idea of any way to communicate him.

I received this message from Lars, and although I can't remember what I said, I think I was asking about this detonator.

Hmmm, I didn't work on that level. not sure if it's an egg or not. :)

Well, obviously the ODST credits weren't much help, having listed Lars as the "Level Designer". I've sent him a new message politely asking who (if he knows) the Oni Alpha Site level designer is, so I'll be relay the information if it comes.

Yes you can. Be warned, taking a picture during this pausation will result in a garbled picture.

Judging by the Spartan Ops trailer, graphics look awesome.

With a time, you need a timezone. I would suggest Kenya, Mombasa's timezone, EAT (East African Time). EAT is GMT+3, meaning at the time I post this, it's about 8:18PM in Mombasa. If you didn't want to do the calculations, it would make sense to set your timezone on the Xbox to EAT. ODST may also recognize this, and allow the door to be unlocked. I can try this theory any time today or tomorrow, if anyone wants to help. And nice writeup se7ember, you seem to have thought this through. Although it is a very far fetched theory, there is basis for it.
If I understand correctly, you're wanting to test and see what would happen if a person set their Xbox time to EAT and tried it? Wouldn't it have to be solo? And of course, you could always try Bungie time, PST (Pacific Standard Time).
Why would it have to be solo? It will read as: 11:03 on the xbox clock under the value "EAT". That would fit the protocol that this theory induces.

ODST General Discussion / Re: Anyone still hunting?

We have guides on these things here. Unfortunately, many guides are still in development and have been "halted" due to a lack of work. We should really finish those...

Nice! Ah yes, the boxes. CG and I discovered them when trying to jack or stop the last Exodus Bobshee by jetpacking above them and falling in. For some reason we never made pictures or mentioned it to anyone, so it's good that you did that. I wonder if CG still has that "The Baggage of Exodus Bobshee 3" clip. It was an awesome clip.

Does anyone know what Bungie's phone number is? Because 556-992-3840

EDIT: Busted, called it and it's just a message saying it's a "Non-Working Number"

I fixed these links, but they still don't seem to be working  >:(
You only changed the text, and not the link itself. Fixed.

Nevermind, I only fixed one link. The rest lead to a destination that Grunts Pajamas no longer holds. I don't know whether they have been deleted or moved. I'll hope for the latter.

Not a noob at all. Does the use of latin not strike you as relating to the new IP? Sure, the motto has been around, but the new IP has been referred to a lot with Latin. Obviously this new way of motto is relating to the new IP, it even has a picture of it in the story. So now, this new use of latin hasn't be around all this time.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but Bungie has only referred to their new IP with one latin phrase, "Per Audacia Ad Astra". And the phrase you're talking about is a Bungie Trademark. The use of latin does not strike me as relating to the new IP, it strikes me as a classic Bungie saying. Just like the other ones heard in the morse code. I don't see how it relates to their new IP.

And what picture?
They suddenly start using Latin when connecting to the new IP? Doesn't spark any idea in you? The classic english phrase is fine. There's no reason they would change it. And for the picture I mean the starry map background thing.
