Do we all remember the Assembly, from the datapads? Surely we haven't gotten sidetracked THAT much so as to forget?

Well, read this (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mind_%28The_Culture%29) and let me know if this seems familiar. Not verbatim, but reminiscent.

Something like this excisting isn't that much of a surprise, since the Scifi-stories TRULY recycle each other for their own uses. :D
