Are we supposed to figure anything out out of this? The first obvious thing that comes to my mind is the order Down, Up, Left, Right, but I don't think that's relevant.... I don't know.. Maybe you should explain yourself, CG.

There is an encoded message in the image. We are on this.
Here's what we can tell from a glance:
The squares are numbered 0001 is 1, 0010 is 2, 0011 is 3 and 0100 is 4
The Y glyphs orientation are probably significant.
The bottom left may have an entire row of blanks as well as an entire column of blanks.
If it weren't a competition I'd give you more. :)

It's been over a month now. Many (most!) of our own moderators have not yet decrypted this.

Thanks to efforts by The Braino and Dunder Moose, the secret behind the transmission was revealed... but it remains a secret! The puzzle remains active and available for solving.
As a matter of fact- just before the New Year- I intercepted a second Transmission (http://subculturelifestyle.com/forum/index.php?topic=542.msg3490#msg3490) and posted it. Since then, FOREMAN appeared to alter its format. (My original post was technically incomplete, but contained the necessary data.)
So not only is the puzzle still active, but also FOREMAN is "alive" and well.
If you still have the inclination to solve the TRANSMISSION puzzle, I recommend that you begin with the encrypted post (http://subculturelifestyle.com/forum/index.php?topic=370.msg1857#msg1857) by FOREMAN.
It remains to be seen what TRANSMISSION 02 is all about, but one thing is for sure: these have to be done in order.

You didn't get it.
In English you pronounce U R L. Like that.
Obviously, the 'U' letter is read as IU, so it is obviously "A URL", like "A University".
In Portuguese, the 'U' letter is read as only U, not IU. It sounds just like the 'w' in the word "word" or the 'u' in the word "super". That's why I made that error: I was unconsciously thinking about the Portuguese way to say URL.

FOREMAN's image in the OP was transmitted to the Gallery, which is down today due to an issue with SubcultureLifestyle. Since some people are working on it today (people whose names end with "Cycle") I am attaching a copy that I saved on my PC.
Sorry for the inconvenience. The gallery (and therefore the FOREMAN image) should be coming back online today. When it does, you can be sure that yours truly will begin migrating the gallery to our own server. At that point, any outages can be blamed squarely on me (or my hosting service!)
