Post by: odst glitcher on December 18, 2009, 00:33:25
i have had this theory in my head the whole time playing with scatcycle and now is my chance to share it

what if the squidhenge is a decoy from bungie

how about putting all plinths in the secret area CG found and made the first youtube video with

anybody able to test this out and post what they found out

Please can we forget that?
The room you are talking about is nothing. It is not secret, and opening it by looking the glyphs was purely coincidence: It was not meant to be seen.
So please, forget it, and move along.

I agree with Imppa on two points:
1)

opening it by looking the glyphs was purely coincidence
2)

It was not meant to be seen.

I disagree with:

It is not secret
for clearly if it was not meant to be seen, then it is a secret!

I also partially disagree with the notion that you should "forget it".  If you truly believe that this could reveal something, then I think you should attempt it and document the results.  After all:  if you're not willing to test your own theory, why should anyone else?

Of the four plinths available in CM:MS, you will be able to get three into that room.  Both from D05 and the one from D06.  This will give you two "I" shapes and a "4" shape.

D'oh! You're right CG, should've thinked before posting...  :-X
But! I have something to disagree too!
One I shape and one 4 shape are in D5. One I shape in D6. Combine them in the secret room? Impossible, since you can have only two districts loaded, in other words D8, where the secret rom is, and either D5 or D6.
So you can bring only two plinths max, not three.  :P

I should have learned by now not to make technical posts that late at night/morning.  Thanks for correcting me, Imppa!

So I'd bump D08 and grab the two from D05.  If nothing else it'll make a cool photo.
