Title: is it possible to dumpster fly on odst
Post by: odst glitcher on December 22, 2009, 13:20:45: i remember flying in halo 3 and would like to know does it still work now me and scat tried but he gave up just as we got into the air and i fell to my watery death :(

you don`t need to jump high you just need to jump very fast to stay in midair

Post by: Scatcycle on December 22, 2009, 20:46:57: no imppas right. as i said glitcher, spartans are tall enough that they can touch the top of the dumpster quicker so they can jump faster. for odsts it takes time for the jump to reach the top of the dumpster

didn`t see any difference in jump patterns

As Scatcycle and I have explained, the ODST's are shorter than the spartans in Halo 3, so you can not break the physics as you could as a spartan.

You can't dumpester fly, as we have already tried in a group of four while district bumping (as I have already said).
1) The dumpster moves around, but doesn't fly.
2) It doesn't matter how t he dumpster is oriented, we tried every 90 degree angle (including getting a guy in there, then putting the dumpster upside down)
3) We also tried getting 3 ODST's in there instead of the normal 2, but the third just ended up glitching outside of it.

Verdict: You can't dumpster fly, atleast not in the same way as Halo 3 ; )
