Title: I am going to ask about zombielites at bungie!
Post by: Scatcycle on December 27, 2009, 21:05:29
I will provide the message i get back here if i get one.

Edit: I sent it to the webmaster. is that bad? who else should i send it to?

Here: Hi, me, "Scatcycle" And someone else i think its singling out and i cant say his name, found something strange in ODST. we call it: Zombielites. here is info:

http://subculturelifestyle.com/forum/index.php?topic=464.0

I would like to know if this is a bug, or if you think we should still work on it. The SGP is proud of this discovery, but we want to know if its just a bug.

On the SGP's behalf, thanks.

Scatcycle

That was to the webmaster but i changed it abit when i sent to stosh and shishka.

You probably would've been better off waiting until after they got back from the two week holiday break...
I doubt you'll get a response, as Bungie hasn't ever helped out much on secrets before, especially after the whole hayabusa thing...

You never know. If it's "just" a glitch, they might be so nice to include the bloodthirsty Zombielite-picture to Weekly Update. :D

@Scatcycle (Original Post)

Well, I must say you were a careless idiot. (it's not THAT offensive..)

First, you should have told the SGP you were going to do it. You just told us you HAD DONE it.
Second, a well-structured, coherent and spell-checked message would have been written and approved by the majority of the active SGP members.
Third, the SGP would have waited until the 2 week Bungie Break had finished and it was all back to normal.
Fourth, you would have been told NOT to do it. Why? Because Imppa is SGP's "official" B.net ambassador. You're just a pawn in this matter, just like me.
Fifth, Imppa would have a topic where he would put the whole 'dialogue' between him and whoever he had sent the message to in the OP so everyone could understand it [the dialogue].
Sixth, I wouldn't have written this and SGP's reputation wouldn't have been lowered. (It might not, I don't know, but "a well-structured, coherent and spell-checked message" would surely cause the opposite.)
Seventh, if you hadn't sent the message (which you didn't show us yet), we would actually have a chance of being replied to.

Thanks for reading.

I'm official? ;D
Yeah, you're right Pulse. But since it's been already sent, we do this: We wait for their reply (as the holidays end) for some time. If we get no answer, we can consider sending another message that is "well-structured, coherent and spell-checked".
OK?

The quality of the question determines the quality of the answer.

I agree with Pulse that any message from "The SGP" to Bungie should have been sent from a moderator (if not by myself).  I, too, would have liked a chance to know what was being sent before it was.  That being said, I remain hopeful that the circumstances behind the message's appearance in the inboxes of Bungie employees will be apparent to its recipients.  And I expect no responses.

Lesson learned, I hope.

It would've been more understood if a Moderator sent it but ScatCycle is a well known Glitcher who shall be allowed to

I agree with the belief that the next one should be posted by CG, and should be organized as we have FAQs. The messaging will unlikely be replied to, so I suggest CG posting a very community gathered and tested FAQ post on the forums, and hope for a reply there. It will be open to all readers (Bungie employees and ninjas too), and if nothing else, we, the community can dicretly 'bump' the thread occasionally, lol.

On side, life, note: My 360 is beyond dead now, and I am sending it in for repairs now, forking over the incredible $128, -but- I'll be able to get off this computer, lol.
