SGP Task Force: Ghost Chasers / SGP: Saving the engineer
« on: October 14, 2009, 12:38:13 »
Is possible to stop the brutes from putting the bomb on the engineer? I ran into them with a mongoose while they were in the process but I never thought of trying to stop them. I won't be able to play for a while so can somebody try it and see what happens.

Theorizers / SGP: Audiofiles
« on: October 12, 2009, 14:31:27 »
"There's a payoff to Sadie's Story in the main game. If the player listens to all of it, they start getting benefits such as the ability to spot hidden caches of ammunition, vehicles and weapons in the landscape. Sadie's Story can also change the course of the game in one way. That makes the experience of ODST much more fun, and it makes the game replayable."

urk's article "building the fourth wall" from B.net referenced the article that had this quote.
The quote came from came from this story.
http://games.venturebeat.com/2009/10/09/how-the-startup-fourth-wall-studios-created-a-game-inside-a-game-for-bungie/

Just thought that it was interesting that it said that Sadie's story can change the course of the game. This may help you guys in the hunt. So maybe check into the audiofiles a little closer. You may have to go to the same places that the audiofiles are referencing. I am just giving things of interest to you guys.

Theorizers / SGP: Sacrificing at Squidhenge
« on: October 08, 2009, 20:30:30 »
I saw that somebody @ B.net mentioned about sacrificing yourself in the middle of the pillars in stonehenge (Maybe try this solo and coop). Well what if there is a way to get a brute or grunt in the middle and scrifice them. I would choose a brute since they are the ones that strap the bombs on the engineers. Something may happen then.

I am just brain storming. Sorry if somebody already mentioned this. It just seems like a good idea to tryout.

Theorizers / Engineers and Stonehenge
« on: October 06, 2009, 19:49:46 »
In reading about engineers on halopedia. I saw this that came of interest to me:
"they (engineers) will utter a high-pitched keening sound whenever a Forerunner artifact is under any sort of threat."

Since humans are descendants of forerunners and Mombasa has buildings, artifacts, etc of forerunners maybe you do have to either shoot or grenade their artifacts to trigger something. Maybe hurting the already dead elites (just guessing).

On a side note, do the pillars in the stonehenge produce musical tone when being shot at, grenade thrown at it, or melee (sorry if I misspelled it). Just like the IWHBYD on halo 3. The rings each made a different tone andyou had to play the correct notes in order for the halo song.

So tell me what you guys think.
