First! Ok now with my story: (kinda short i will continue ;))
Spartan 300 was releases from his CRYO chamber. It was nighttime and Covenant were glassing reach, and the UNSC relied on him to get rid of the covenant.
Spartan 300 is genetically modified human and is stronger than all the other Spartans. He is a living tank. When he was released from CRYO sleep, the Marines were dying, and they needed help. The Spartan got out of the CRYO Chamber. Unlike most Spartans, he talked a lot.
"Whats going on? Are we in peril?"
The engineer talking to him was amazed. He had never heard his voice, since the Spartan was put in CRYO sleep before the engineer had been born.
"Uh, well, uh... The covenant are glassing Reach!" He yelled.
"What is my primary goal?"
"You will go silently right to the prophets ship. You will then fly in a pelican up to it. The pelican is too small for them too see, so we will go unnoticed. On your trek to the ship we will provide two ODSTs to give you cover. Look on your right. You will see a silenced sniper rifle. On your left you will see a silenced sub machine gun."
"Where do i start this "trek""
"Right outside sir, theirs a pelican waiting for you."
"Thanks engy, i owe you one."
Spartan 300 walked outside to the pelican.
"Hey look, its the spartan!" said an ODST.
"Is that the tank?" said another ODST.
"ODSTs, i will be traveling to an LZ under the prophets ship. This pelican here will follow me after i take out everyone in my path. You two are my escorts. I dont know anything about this planet, you guys do."
"Ok, then saddle up spartan! Take the gunner!"
Spartan 300 Jumped onto the pelican and took gunner.
"What are your weapons?
"I have got a silenced sub machine gun." Said the First ODST, named Sam.
"I have rockets, and a silenced pistol." Said the second ODST, named John.
"We'll be going slow anyways, so those rockets wont be a heavy burden."
The pelican took off, across the mountains. They stopped right before a covenant guardhouse, with anti aircraft guns.
The drive of the pelican said "I'm dropping you off in the canyon so you wont get spotted as silluoets on the mountain. Never put yourselves up against the sky. Stay low and don't get caught."
"Hooah!" Cheered the threesome.
They touched down in the canyon. The Spartan set up his sniper bipod and surveyed the area. The covenant had set up their guard in an abandoned house.
"We got a jackal sniper on the roof." The spartan Whispered.
"Ive spotted A Zealot elite, their the gold ones right? Hes on the porch."
"OK dont move, im gonna take the jackal out because he might spot us soon."
The spartan steadied his breath. He had to pull the trigger at the right moment. He pulled it... NOW!
The bullet flew towards it target at an unbelievable speed.
"AW S**T!"
The bullet missed. The jackal turned its head to look at some trees being swayed by the wind at the last second. The bullet whizzed by him. He spotted the soldiers.
"Change of plans, LET EM HAVE IT!"
John fired a rocket at the jackal. It's limp, deformed body flew up into the air. Sam shot the elite with his SMG but only took off its shields. The Spartan ran a at an unbelievably fast speed to the side of the house. John used his pistol to kill the damaged elite, but their were still a few grunts and jackals. The spartan jumped through the window into the house, grabbed a grunt twisted its neck. It was instantly dead. Being shot by plasma, but withstanding because of his shields, he moved to the next grunt and ripped off his mask. The grunt could not survive nor make any lethal movements to the spartan so the spartan moved on. He took out his smg and shot two jackals close to each other. Then he saw it. A grunt running for a control panel. Their was no doubt, he meant to alert the covenant of what was coming. The spartan couldn't let that happen. His SMG had to reload and he couldn't snipe the grunt in this close quarters, so he grabbed a jackals shield and swung it at an angle toward the grunt. It sliced into the grunt and stopped him from radioing out. The spartan then reloaded his gun slowly and shot the grunt.
"DUDE! That was totally awesome man!" Shouted john from outside the house.
"Hey, do you have a name?" Asked John.
"Eli." The spartan said. (its not E-LY its L E. eli.)
"Ok Eli, lets move out" Sam replied.
The spartan and ODSTs kept going along the path. They soon found a wide open plain. Grunts were asleep in grass, Elites were standing around, and then Eli spotted him. A gigantic alien, that looked kinda like a an ape, and had a huge hammer with a blade on the back.
"Whats that?" Asked Eli.
"Oh no... Thats a Brute Chieftan. They are new to the covenant. They are ferocious, dumb, and strong." Sam said worryingly.
"Then that's a good match for me!" The spartan exclaimed. "Ok, on three. Im gonna rush out and attack the brute chieftan, john uses a rocket on the elite, and sam you take out the grunts."
"Got it." The two said.
"One... two... three!" Eli ran out toward the brute with a knife in his hand, the brute looked and readied his hammer. But instead of stabbing it, Eli jumped up turned around mid-air,landed, and immiedaitly did a back flip over the chieftain and stabbed him in the neck. Meanwhile near Eli a rocket exploded dead on impact with the elite. Sam was taking out the grunts but a grunt took a shot at him and and the plasma pierced right through a weakpoint in his armor and hit his body.
"AHHHHHH! IT BURNS! OH MAKE IT STOP PLEASE!" Eli shot the last grunt while John rushed over to Sam.
"Where'd it hit you?"
"Right in the chink! It went to my skin! AHHHH!"
Eli took a shot of morphine from his suit and injected it into Sam. After a few seconds the cries of agony stopped.
"Aw... thats the stuff.
"We better get moving. Can you walk?" Said Eli.
"Yeah. I'll need medications after were done with this so lets get this mission done quick."
They walked down the canyon and the spotted a covenant anti air site. There seemed to be a stirring amidst the camp.
"Whats goin' on down there?" Asked Sam.
"I dont know, lemme set up my sniper rifle and check this out." Eli said as he set up the bipod.
"Woah. This is strange. A brute just shot an elite! Now the elites are shooting the brutes! Its a war!"
"Why would they kill each other? Should we intervene now?" Asked John.
"No, by the looks of it there will be less for us if we wait it out. Hey look, the brute chieftain pissed off the gold elite. Now this is a good fight."

"You only talk to prophets in the sacred tone! You've killed my people, so now you must pay!" A Zealot Elite says as he lunges toward a brute chieftain, only to be knocked back by the gravitational pulse the hammer generates.
"I talk however I want to talk! Your blood will be spilled for defying me!" The chieftain ran at a high speed toward the elite. The elite had plans too. Against the brute chieftains will, the elite brought two holographic spheres.
The elite threw down the spheres, and two more gold elites sprang up from them. The chieftain stopped, not knowing which one to strike. If he striked the wrong one, it would cost him dearly.These elites of course, were holographic.
"Any elite can spot another true elite, but the brutes, a kind not worthy of the covenant, cannot."
All three elites rushed at the chieftain. The chieftain couldn't tell which one the real elite was. He had to guess. There was no other way. He twisted his gravity hammer and swung at the one on his right. The blade struck through it. He had hit the elite so hard, his blade cut the elite in half. The chieftain tried to roar, but the pain caused from the energy from the gravitation left unused. The gravity had helped the chieftain swing, but not all of it was used. The chieftain let not a whisper out, because he was in zero G for those lifely seconds, with ought a mask. The brute toppled over.

well anyways, i found a plinth on tarazi plaza. IM SURE its been found. but i hate it when i find something and cant find it again so plz tell me if its been found or not. i can post pics if its not been found. Its the tall plinth not the shortish one.
