Oh, i forgot to say :

When the ONI building is loaded, we see that there's in the middle of the textures a big "black" thing we cannot go in ... But if the player who is in this zone, before the other makes the loading sequence happen, go with his map where the black cube is supposed to be we could go in, and see what could be hidden (maybe nothing but death) !

I'll try this later if no-one try before i do  ;D

Thank you Coldglider, that's pleasure !
If you want me to do a SGP video on ODST like this one, i'll do it with pleasure :P

I'm not sure about my own translation, but i do not read English very well :P
"A legend told that it was possible to cross the destroyed bridge of the ONI Alpha Site."
CORRECT !

"Far be it from us to doubt how complicated it could be to prove that story!"

"Find the complete and illustrated tutorial of this trick (that's a French deformation for "glitch") on HALOCREATION.SUPERFORUM.FR
along with more than 50 other Halo 3: ODST trick tutorials."
CORRECT !

BONUS:  Drifting in an idle/empty Phantom
Found by Kozy117 and VsH Tepec Fett (shame on us for that!)
(i'm not sure about "drift" .. How to explain ? When a boat haven't fuel anymore, she's drifting on the sea ... You see what i mean ?
And "empty" because there's no pilot : as you see on the video, it's blue, like a Mongoose, and not red like an enemy or a vehicule which got a pilot within)

Thank you Coldglider ! Like i said before, i'm busy but still looking here and working on our stuff !

... And the video :

And the tutorial (une French, but with many pics that could allow you with the video to understand different steps of this glitch) :

 ;D *happy Tepec, happy*

P.S. : can't I make the video directly in this post ? The link on Youtube for this doesn't seem to work here  :-\

There's another way to do that ; i've tried your method without success (the invisible wall at the middle of the broken bridge stopped me all the time ... Have you some pic or video to proove your method ?) , but by a very long way, we can effectively go on the other side of the bridge.

Video tomorrow, and nothing interesting about glyphs, or sword, or ... interesting stuff :P

DISCOVERY OF THE DAY :

Bored by all of those rumors saying that we could go on the other side of the Broken Bridge in ONI Alpha Site district during "Mombasa Streets" mission, i searched and i find that we could effectively go there, by monstruous methods and loooong ways  :P

We can go around the ramparts, on the other side of the broken bridge, in the ONI building (well, sort of, we're in the textures but out of the inside we see during "ONI Alpha Site" mission" in fact) ; and there's nothing interesting for us ...  :'(

Video of this new glitch tomorrow.

« on: December 13, 2009, 15:51:51 »
Hi !

Thank you ODST glitcher for your theories, and i'll say some things that could give you some ideas :
Yesterday, i use the known way to go out of Mombasa Streets (you can see the different methods on youtube) , and i try with another player to "load" or pre-load the entire black districts ... We failed, actually that seems impossible to me (but i'll try other glitch, i don't despear !) .

But, what i've found could be interesting : i succeeded in trying to load the ONI alpha site and go around those huge walls (that is quite hard because you need a player that stay in the streets in order to load different districts, and a player who is out of the map and who need to do a huge mongoose jump (with 2 grenades) to go above those very huge walls above the districts (those walls aren't the district walls, they are much bigger) .
At present, i've not been on the other side of the destructed bridge, but i'm quite sure this is possible.

(I've done some other funny glitches that i'll show to you with a little video, but unfortunately i don't think they help in our quest ...)

Now i try to get out of Kikowani Station (some incredible glitchers have done it, by a mad way XD i hope i could do what they did once !) , and i still hope that we can make entire black districts load ...
A clue could be found by finding a way to get out of District 1, at the beginning of "Coastal Highway" mission, because this mission is the only one where we are in a usually totally black district.

'Have to find that !

Good luck,

Tepec

P.S. : pan-cam could be effectively interesting in order to search something in Mombasa Streets, but i haven't found anything by this way ... But good eyes could see what i cannot !

Report In! / Re: SGP: Sick Phantom
« on: November 11, 2009, 21:23:42 »
Hi !

The Phantom could, some times, not crash itself ... We succeeded to make it crash by trying more than half an hour because it can escape, or fall in the water (and the pilot dies by then) , so it's quite hard to do that grunt get out of its Phantom !

But what i could say : in theory, the Phantom is pilotable, by the same way we use for Wraiths or Banshees (by killing the pilote when putting RB or B button) . But it's in theory , because for the Wraith or the Banshee, we can see the pilot (or elements of the pilot), whereas, in this case, we actually don't know where the cockpit exactly is, and where we could see the pilot.

I didn't put an other information about this Phantom in ODST : if it crashes and if you put RB or B button (it depends of your configuration) ,  it will turn and turn, like it wants to be "on its feet", like Warthog or other vehicules.

I don't think it is pilotable, but we could try, because of the fact that, and you can see that on the video, the Phantom without pilot appear "blue", like pilotable vehicules !

Hi !

In this short H3:ODST video, we show you our investigation about those dark areas and dark districtsH3.
Actually, we try to go into those entire black districts, during "New Mombasa Streets" mission, and there are some clues in this video to succeed it.

If you want to help us, go on halocreation.superforum.fr

Thank you for watching !

Hi !

Back from the hard work my E. Sport club needs from me, i prepare a little video of this "investigation about the mystery of the dark areas" :P

It'll show you what we found with black areas and black districts, and what we haven't find yet !

I hope this video will motivate some people to help us in our quest, the video will be available soon.

Love,

Report In! / Re: SGP: Dark Area Access Legitimized!
« on: October 15, 2009, 16:18:18 »
That's very interesting : i'm not sure that the same type of "dark area access legitimization" (  ;D ) could be found for New Mombasa Streets Dark Areas, but we're not sure about anything, we just have to try !
(Actually i'm quite busy with my team (obligations with a BTB championship) , but i'll try to find something in this way as soon as i could try !)

Moreover, I noticed that, at the beginning of the "Coastal Highway" mission, you actually were in the District 1, district that you can't explored (yet ! yet !) during New Mombasa Streets mission ; so, we're absolutely sure that this district "exists" , but we don't know how to load it from New Mombasa Streets mission.

Bien joué!

About District 10 :

We've already try this glitch, but actually never succeeded "breaking" this f***ing ceiling ... This is a way i don't forget, i think there could be a way by glitching on/in the water, where you can survive sometimes.

I'll try, i'll try, promess !

Hi !

DISCOVERY OF THE DAY

I've got something new for the Kizingo Blvd mission : I saw that if we killed every Covenant in the last area of the first loading zone, the second one will load automaticly ; so I thought that we could mix that with the quadruple jump in order to explore the roofs of the second loading zone.
I'll probably try this next week.

Have a nice week end !

I think that the two players that stay "blocking" the first door will be teleported with the one who make the loading sequence appear. I've done that thing once (but the purpose wasn't the same) , and i think the case was nearly the same, too.

Whatever, if you couldn't do that before monday, i'll do this and give you the answer.

Theorizers / Re: SGP: Report - Investigative Leads
« on: October 08, 2009, 21:59:33 »
Coldglider is right : the overloading possibility during Halo 3 campaign is very restricted ... Actually, i've done it just once, with the "Unlimited Hornets + Unlimited Marines" during "Covenant Alliancy" mission (i did a funny advertisement video of it for my glitchers community forums : Halocalypse Now) , and the overload glitch in campaign only make just the map missed some textures, nothing else that could be helpful going into dark areas, i think.

But, in theory, if we find a glitch during New Mombasa Streets that allow us to have somme unlimited equipment, that could work ...

Hi !

I have some bad news today :

 DISCOVERY OF OCTOBER 8th 2009  ;D

1) I didn't succeeded yet to find a way to go on the roofs during "New Mombasa Streets" mission ; but i'll find ! *hope hope hope*

2) I went with friends on the roofs of Kizingo Boulevard mission like i said earlier, and, this time, we went on the big walls that separate the districts from each other (we need to be 4, because we had to do a quadruple jump !), and what we deduce : there is no loading sequence when we was going on District 1 or any other "black area" that was not loaded in the loading sequence where we were. In fact, according to the VISR map, we should be into District 1, but we were just on an almost never ending black foor "above" it.

But that second point isn't definitly a bad news : yes, that could be the proof that black districts aren't accessible because there could be no loading sequence for them, even by going above them. But it's not sure : we were in a mission where there are objectives we have to unlock in order to go further, that is not the case in New Mombasa Streets.

Keep hope, friends !
