Lol!

Pulse, you do know that I have a job right? No matter how simple a task or how little time it takes I simply can't do it. The little time I do have I spend looking for thing that no one has found or noticed.

Believe me I understand what you are saying.

Now that I have a Hard drive I prefer Co-op investigations and testing. If you see me on and time is permitting that's what I want to do.

On topic: I feel like the Wraith blows up if you get out, I could be wrong...either way a team of 4 with a stop watch would be a great way to tackle this. Maybe the guy going for the wraith could move it up jump out and run back and forth while the rest of the team covers...

Has anyone taken out all of the Wraiths?
Me and Monx took out all 4 at once. They respawn. Sadly. This makes it extremely hard to make the giant explosions with all the barrels, as the wraiths purposely miss and seem to hit them.

I remember I almost made it back with one but the count down hit 0 and I blew up about 10 feet away from returning to the battle field..
You can get in it right? If I remember correctly.

We need to team up. Someone can get the sniper and  pop the hatch, someone else can emp it, third (or same guy) can jump up and melee/headshot the driver, get in and boost back. I think it's possible. We just need to try.

Sounds good in theory. This would save a little time but I am afraid its just to far out to be able to make it back alive.

(Yes you can get in the wraith)

I agree with pulse BUT it better to have 99 prospects rather than 1. Especially since we are in the business of finding items that turn out to be nothing....at least we will be busy until Halo 4 (at which point we will still be working on ODST)

Enigma, need a hand?

Thanks Pulse, I finally figured it out. I damn near had the whole thing apart. I felt like an idiot when I push that tab in and this little panel came off revealing a nifty hiding spot to attach the HD.

Intel / Exodus doors
« on: July 13, 2011, 17:42:05 »
I was messing around on Exodus this morning (LASO) which is too F'n hard if you ask me and I noticed a few thing on Check point Bravo.

First (and I know its not new) the few doors that open and enemies come out of, these doors are locked per the key pad with the numbers on it, so why can they be opened? I ran around to check other doors and most of THEM say they a unlocked but do not open...weird. If you shoot the key pad it makes it look like the key pad lights up a darker blue, probably nothing but what ever...

Something is here on Exodus I just know it...

Work-In-Progress (Halo: Reach) / Re: WIP: Covenant Ranks Guide

I was wondering:
Does it matter where you shoot?
Head = 2 shots shield burst
Arm = 4 shots shield burst
Legs....
Torso.....
I was just think about that, are the shields being broken down like that?
With shields, headshot = footshot, unless you're using a Sniper.
Without shields, headshot = instant kill, but I don't know if footshot = torsoshot.

You could test that in Forge with a guest.
To test the health just make the shield strength 0% in the Custom Options.

I'm anxious to know the results!

Does that mean your current research has you coming to the conclusion that no matter the rank the shields are the same?
That's not what I said.
I just said that I believe shooting a shielded Spartan in the foot is the same as shooting a shielded Spartan in the arm.
I don't know for sure, although my research leads me to believe that.

You could prove it right or wrong in 2 minutes.

Probably.

Just make sure you destroy the Air Craft guns BEFORE you hit the switch. Lay low with the banshees, take the trail you take on foot. Don't stray to far away, or the next area won't load.
I am aware.

1.) WC - Get the falcon and break the barrier on the broken bridge.
2.) Nightfall - Rock climbing
3.) Long Night of Solace - Get to the top of Countdown. Try to get to places that have not be attempted. Possibly attempt to get a seraph.
4.) The Package - Destroy the AA guns while still getting the Banshees and finish the mission. try and get the Banshees inside Sword base and investigate Glacier.
5. ) The Pillar of Autumn - Back track the mission and heavily investigate the area.

If you are interested in helping with any of these let me know. I should be getting my HD by the end of this week.

1.)This never works for me. Surely Bungie didn't patch this, right...
2.)I honestly have never done much glitching on this level, I would love to do this and Corvette Launching :)
3.)Good luck with getting up on top of Countdown and with the Seraph. I've explored some of it in Theater and not much I know of that is up there except the Scenery... whatever they're called, I can't remember, and the Warthog Placeholder for the Turrets.
4.)Sounds tedious, couldn't you just Hijack a Banshee from Checkpoint Bravo? Or if you want less (softkill mostly) barriers, activate the Banshee switch also.
5.)When I have done this, what usually happens is enemies disappear or you end up doing the Infinite Mongoose Glitch. Some doors usually close near the end of the level, preventing backtracking. Skipping areas also seems to be interesting.

In conclusion: I would like to try #2 and #5 :)

Works for me.

Halo Reach General Discussion / Re: Jorge's visor
« on: July 11, 2011, 22:37:03 »
Apparently you can't upload media from Cutscenes (Noble Actual and Credits). They weren't even supposed to be filmed anyways.

I looked at it, and it appears to be a feature thing (polarization, radiation protection, Idk). I took two pics seconds apart and it goes from almost the default visor color to dark red, so I don't think it's the lighting. Carter appears to have the same thing, too. Unless the shading on the Helmet changes suddenly in the same lighting, then it's a part of the helmet.

Thank god someone else saw the same thing. I wonder if it has to do with night vision....

TL;DR. Summarize please.

But I do see the ILB part. I know that it is most likely nothing, but we shouldn't discount it as a possibility. Where did you find this? Pictures?

TL: DR part was just something I found while looking up what GRD stood for. everything else can be found during LNOS, no hard drive (YET) so no pictures...
