Did you do that whilst with me, Because you kept skipping cutscenes where my armour was white instead of full red

and this is what I got in the first one which you I got a glimpse of the Helmet before you skipped it

Yea Helmets tend to do that in that mission on Coop.
I saw the Skull helmet with that glitch awhile ago, movie failed to save though, :^( yet it was epic.

I did the legendary one with you. Yes random helmets appear all the time with 2 players. Nothing special. I've gotten Emiles before. Carters (the one we got) is very common.
