Extreme damage to elites

Im starting to think that to get elites to stand up all you need is extreme damage. I think this because the other day me and glitcher did the grenade trick on an assault elite and it didnt stand up so he punched it and it stood up. I would like to have four players repeatedly hit the elite. Any volunteers?
