As you near the first two grunts in this level (also the first two enemies) a script is triggered. This is what I can make out (on Easy):
Grunt 1: What they thinking not sealing this entrance?
Grunt 2: Too busy building fancy spithouse.
Grunt 3: Bah! If traitor escapes it their fault, not ours!
